welcome! as a matter of fact, we'll be having one of our monthly beach burns in huntington beach state beach, immediately south of the brookhurst entrance (though you may have to enter at magnolia instead and drive down). someone will be holding a pit early (at the end of the long paved walkway), and it typically goes until the park closes at 10pm. many bring food to share, there's occasionally a bbq going, and wood for the pit is always welcomed.
